Happy Belated Thanksgiving, All,
My bros came over, including Brian and his fiancee Meghan, both in from a 12-hour drive from New Orleans. It's normally an 8-hour drive, but Baton Rouge traffic has gotten unbelievably bad since Katrina.
Yesterday I cooked and washed dishes and cooked and washed dishes and cooked from 10 AM until 5 PM. I was a machine.
- Potato Rolls
- Herbed Turkey with Roasted Garlic Gravy
- Potato Gratin with Gruyere and Herbes de Provence
- Green Bean Casserole
- Spinach, Cherry Tomato, Feta and Black Olive Salad
- Cranberry Sauce (store bought)
- Stuffing (store bought) with Dried Cranberries and Slivered Almonds
- Pecan & Pumpkin Pies (store bought)

We had such a great time, drinking and eating and laughing and carrying on. Meghan and I were the only non-smokers present, until Bruce showed up. He quit smoking 3 months ago, and I don't know whether or not Meghan has ever smoked.
I've got to run, but long story short, we had a wonderful time, and I didn't feel uncomfortable being in the non-smoking minority.
Check out one of the songs I made in "Garage Band". This one is called Bleh.
