Long time, no post, I know... But I'm still going strong, and not smoking.

Strangely, on Monday at around noon, the week was getting off to a terrible start, I was under a lot of pressure from several different groups, and I found myself momentarily tempted to smoke. After 13 months without a cigarette, I had a craving.

The craving was very brief, not even long enough to seriously think about acting on it. In fact, it was so brief that I almost didn't recognize it.

Clearly, it was a reaction to stress. It came out of nowhere, but wasn't a big deal at all. It's nice to be at the point where I can laugh down that demon.

My brothers are still smoke-free, too; 100 days under each of their belts! I was going on 100 days when I started this blog. Ah, the memories...

It's 12:18 and all is well.

It's Friday night. I got home, Rob cooked chicken fajitas, we chilled out and had a couple of beers, chilled out some more, went to Target and HEB (grocery store), went home, and I spent a few hours getting the finances organized, paying bills, and eating cookies. Then, I don't know, I got kinda hooked on the internet, for a brief spell.

Somehow I ended up staying up this late, without any chemical help (not even caffeine.) Out of character for me, but it's a fun departure.

Still going strong, at precisely 13 months since my last cigarette. Hooray!
